I’m Kevin, the guide behind basalt private tours, and I’m delighted to introduce you to one of the most magnificent places on the planet.

Before moving to Pico Island in 2021, I spent 15 years working in the social sector in Brussels, supporting individuals and groups in a variety of socio-cultural projects. This experience taught me excellent listening skills, adaptability, and how to connect with people from all walks of life, skills I now bring to every tour I lead.

I discovered my true passion while working in a local travel agency: sharing the beauty, culture, and stories of Pico with visitors. That’s when I decided to become a freelance guide and dedicate myself fully to creating memorable experiences.

I speak fluent English, French, and Dutch, which allows me to communicate easily with international visitors.

As a certified guide with in-depth knowledge of Pico’s landscapes, history, and traditions, I design private tours for individuals and groups, fully tailored to your interests.
